The Leopold Bloom Art Award is aimed at supporting progressive contemporary Hungarian visual artists and their presence in the international art scene. It’s primary aim is to support the collaboration of Hungarian artists and prestigious international exhibition spaces, the introduction of artists to the international scene and their career development. As such, with the Award endowed with 10.000 Euro we would like to recognize the work of a contemporary Hungarian visual artist, supporting his/her foray into the international scene through an independent or group exhibition.

The website www.leopoldbloomaward.com offers further information about the Award and the artists, including video interviews recorded in their studios providing an insight into the special working process of each of them.
