Yayoi Motohashi is curator at The National Art Center, Tokyo. She has studied Art History at Waseda University, Tokyo (1993-2003) as well as Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest (1998-2000) and Helsinki University (2001-2002).
Yayoi has been working at The National Art Center, Tokyo since 2003. Her main interest is in contemporary art and design. She has worked on the following exhibitions at The National Art Center, Tokyo: Skin + Bones: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture (2007, Curator: Brooke Hodge, touring exhibition from The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles); Artist File 2008; Stillleben aus der Gemäldegalerie des Kunsthistorischen Museums Wien, 2008; Artist File 2009; Van Gogh: The adventure of becoming an artist, 2010.
She is currently at work on a show of NODA Hiroji 1981-2011 (January 2012).
