Johan Pousette

Johan Pousette, born 1962. Project manager of the Department of Regional Development in Gotland County Government (1997-2000), National Government Assignment for Contemporary Art in Sweden (2003-2005), founder of the Baltic Art Center (1999). Director of the Baltic Art Center (2000-2007). Currently he is guest curator of Contemporary Art at Riksutstallningar (Swedish Travelling Exhibition) and curator of the Göteborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art (2009).

Johan Pousette holds a lecture in Labor(1053 Budapest, Képíró u. 5.) on 9th February 2009 at 6pm about the swedish contemporary art scene, activities at BAC, the Baltic Art Center in Sweden, the concept of production in residence, the development of residencies in the Nordic countries and the upcoming edition of the Gothenburg Biennale 2009.
