ACAX launches its new Curators-in-Residency programme

We are happy to announce ACAX’s new Curators-in-Residency programme, the first edition of which was established in cooperation with the Mondriaan Fund, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Our first guest curator is Lene ter Haar, curator at SCHUNCK, Heerlen, The Netherlands, who is spending a two-month curators-in-residency period in Budapest.

Stijn Huijts, the director of the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht.

ACAX becomes a member of the Visual Arts Platform

In 2011 ACAX was invited to be the sixth member of the Visual Arts Platform (VAP), an international network of arts agencies. VAP includes the most prominent European arts agencies such as the British Arts Council England, the Danish Agency for Culture, the Dutch Mondriaan Fund, the Belgian BAM (Flemish Institute for Visual, Audiovisual and Media Art), the Swiss Pro Helvetia.
