Rita Kálmán is a curator and art historian. Since 2008, she has been the curator and program supervisor of ACAX | Agency for Contemporary Art Exchange, an affiliate of the Ludwig Museum–Museum of Contemporary Art, Budapest.

She studied art history and cultural management at the University of Vienna, the University of Edinburgh and the IKM (Institute of Cultural Management and Cultural Studies), Vienna. Between 2004 and 2006, she was the executive director of the Studio of Young Artists Association, Budapest. She is co-founder and co-director of Impex–Contemporary Art Provider, an independent art initiative that she currently runs with Katarina Šević. She is a member of IKT | International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art.

She has been the curator of numerous exhibitions and contemporary art projects, as well as interventions in the urban environment, among others:
